Welcome to Radar Systems and Remote Sensing Lab. |
The Laboratory for Radar Systems and Remote Sensing is part of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
(ECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
It has great and valuable experience in the areas of radar systems, remote sensing and generally in the areas of radio and mobile communications. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) studies, Electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation
and radio-coverage modeling, as well as related measurments for wireless communication systems, are some of the Lab activities. In addition, Laboratory members
participate actively to related international conferences and scientific working groups, contributing to the advancement of the above mentioned scientific fields, through various workshops and session organizings,
as well as Journal and Conference publications.
The Laboratory's research activities lie in the fields of:
-
Studies for SAR and ISAR.
-
Advanced mathematical methods for EM wave propagation modeling (eg asymptotic analysis, high frequency electromagnetic techniques, near field methods etc).
-
2D and 3D radiocoverage modeling techniques for wireless communication systems.
-
Integrated EM measurements.
